The Tesla Model S

is the first all-electric vehicle to be powered by such a rechargeable battery, and its range of up to 300 miles represents an increase in electric vehicle range over previous models. The Tesla Model S has a range of 240 miles with the AWD system, which will deliver a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds. The Model S also comes with 12V sockets in the front and rear to allow the connection of accessories to the car, including USB ports and phone chargers. Some optional blind-spot monitors improve visibility for both drivers, reducing the risk of being involved in rear-end accidents and up to $5 million in coverage for serious injury or death.
